More About This
Some programs have a combination of funding with different required questions. When you start a program enrollment in HMIS, you can select more than one grant source. This helps you see the right questions by grant and project type in one enrollment.
Details
Once you have completed the Family Members step of an Intake, the guided workflow will move you into the Program Enrollment phase of the process:
- For the Project field, select the project at your agency in which you are enrolling the client or household:
- If the Project you select has combined or multiple funding streams, you will see the option appear to select which funding grants to apply to the client's enrollment.
- For the Select any additional State or Local Grants field, select all that apply to the specific client you are enrolling. Any selectable grants you see in this multi-select field are ones that may not cover 100% of the clients in the project.
- Note: A funding source listed in the Grants automatically attached to this program field indicates that the grant covers 100% of the clients enrolled in that project. It will always be greyed out and users will not need to interact with this field.
- If the project receives HUD and/or federal funding, then 100% of the enrollments in the project must be funded by the federal source. Only state/local grants will be selectable.
- Once finished, scroll down to complete the next section of the page.
