What this is
The Incoming Referral Data Checker helps you quickly see if there are any referrals coming into your housing project that need action — like acknowledging the referral or enrolling the client.
This tool is especially helpful if:
- Your project receives Coordinated Entry referrals
- You need to track which referrals are still pending
- You want to check if a Resulting Enrollment was recorded
Where to find the Incoming Referral Checker
This tool is located in the Home workspace, not the Reports workspace. Click Data Checkers -> Incoming Referral Data Checker (131, v2025.1)
How do I use this tool?
The Incoming Referral checker is best used for one program or programs within one organization. It is not meant for community-wide monitoring.
Once you open the tool, select:
- Organization (your agency)
- Program (your housing project)
- Show Pending Referrals Only OR select a date range
- (Optional) Toggle "Show Client Names"
- Click Search.
What you will see
All pending referrals - or referrals in the time frame - to your housing project will appear.
For each referral, you’ll see:
Client ID | Date of Referral | Program Name | Date you acknowledged the referral (blank if you still need to acknowledge it)
Result Status (e.g. pending, accepted, denied) | Result Date
Resulting Enrollment (if applicable) | Enroll Date | Date of Move In
