Changing a Provider Entry Type

When we set up your provider in ServicePoint, we assign an assessment to appear when you select the correct Entry Type while creating an Entry Record. If you select the incorrect Entry Type, the wrong assessment or a message may display in the Entry/Exit Data pop-up, “No Entry Assessment has been specified for this provider.” You can make the change immediately at the top of the the Entry/Exit Data pop-up by selecting the correct Entry Type from the drop-down menu and clicking on Update. If you selected the wrong Provider or Entry Type while creating an Entry Record, you can easily correct this mistake!

How to Change Provider and Entry Type

1
Enter EDA mode as the provider that will be used for the client record moving forward. Next, search in ClientPoint for the client whose entry/exit needs to be updated. You can select Use Current System Date. Because an entry/exit will be edited, the system date does not matter.
2
Click on the Entry/Exit tab. Find the entry that needs to be adjusted and click on the edit pencil.
Click on Save & Continue in the Project Start Data pop-up.
3
At the top of the Entry/Exit Data pop-up, choose the correct options for Provider and Type.

Click on the Update button.

4
Because the questions differ from one assessment to the next, review the assessment questions and make sure that any additional ones are answered. If entering data for a household, review assessments for all other household members.
5
Click on Save & Exit.
