How to enter FHPAP Funding Type

FHPAP Funding Type is a required data element in HMIS for FHPAP programs.
What you need to know
The FHPAP Funding Type data element must be completed for Head of Households during:
- Program enrollment
- Enrollment update assessment(s), if their funding type changes

Entering FHPAP Funding Type at program enrollment
- Start a program enrollment workflow
- Once on the Head of Household’s FHPAP Funding Assessment form, choose the FHPAP Funding Type your program used to serve the household
Updating FHPAP Funding Type
Changes to the Head of Household's FHPAP funding type must recorded with an Update Assessment. This is for active enrollments only.
- Start an Update Assessment
- Match the assessment date to the date FHPAP funding type changed
- Once on the Head of Household's FHPAP Funding Assessment form, select the new FHPAP Funding Type your program used to serve the household
FHPAP Funding Type Crosswalk
| Funding Type | Description |
| Standard | Base FHPAP funding type, which starts fresh at the beginning of each new biennium. The current biennium runs from October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2025 |
| Fast Track | One-time FHPAP funding that started June 1st, 2023. These additional Fast Track funds were awarded as a part of the 2023-2025 biennium. |
| Direct Allocation | This funding type is for the FHPAP Tribal or Neighborhood House direct allocation funding that started during the 2023-2025 biennium. |
| FHPAP RD2 | The second round of Standard FHPAP funds that were awarded in late spring 2024. Projects should not use this funding source before June 2024. |
| FT RD2 | The second round of Fast Track funding thatwas awarded late spring 2024. Projects should not use this funding source before June 2024. |
