How to use the Coordinated Entry Status Data Checker

What this is

Need a way to check whether your clients are enrolled in Coordinated Entry (CE)? This tool helps you quickly check CE status and follow up with next steps — all in one place.

What you need to know

The Coordinated Entry Status Checker lets you answer questions like:

  • Is this client enrolled in CE?
  • Do they have a housing referral?
  • Are they already in a housing project?

Where to find the Coordinated Entry Status Checker

This tool is located in the Home workspace, not the Reports workspace. Click on Data Checkers ➡️ CE Status Checker (077).

How do I use this tool?

The CE status checker is best used for one program or programs within one organization. It is not meant for community-wide monitoring.

Once you open CE Status Checker, select:

  • Organization (your agency)
  • Program (the project you're reviewing)
  • (Optional) Case Manager/Enroller
  • (Optional) Toggle "Show Client Names"
  • Click Search

What you will see

For each head of household enrolled, you can review:

Client ID | Date enrolled in your project

Whether they are:

  • Enrolled in a CE project (or if there is more than one CE enrollment)
  • Pending a Housing Referral
  • Already enrolled in a Housing Project.

What you can do from here

Update the CE Event. If the client has a Pending Housing Referral, you can update the CE Event. Click the action button ▶️, view CE Event, ▶️ select the edit pencil on the CE Event. Make your updates and select "Save".

Open the client record. Go directly to the client record using the action button.

Want to download the list? Export these results by selecting the "Excel Export" button from the 🖨️ printer icon menu located in the top right of your screen.
