What this is

This article will show you how to run the FHPAP Supplemental report in HMIS.

What you need to know

The FHPAP Supplemental report should be used for FHPAP and Homework Starts with Home funded projects. This report will not work for any non-FHPAP & non-HSWH programs.

Follow these steps

  1. Go to the report location

Report Location: Reports Workspace > MN State Program Reports > FHPAP Supplemental (36)

  1. Fill out the report prompts
  • Date Range: Enter the start and end dates for the report, or pick a preset option. If you’re not sure which dates to use, ask your funder.
  • Organization(s): Select the organization you use when creating and updating enrollments for your project.
  • Program Groups: Optional. Only use this filter if you have a program group set up for your group of projects.
  • Continuum(s) of Care: Optional. Use this is you want to filter enrollments in a specific CoC.
  • Program Type: Optional. Use this to narrow down the list of programs shown (for example, transitional housing).
  • Funding Source: Choose the funding source you need. Either FHPAP (Family Homeless Prevention and Assistance Program) or HSWH (Homework Starts With Home).
  • Sub-Funding Type(s): This filter will appear for FHPAP only: Select which sub-funding types you want included in the report.
  • Program(s): Select the program(s) to include in the report. The program list is filter by the selected funding source.
  • Filter by Grant(s): Optional. Used by regional administrators to run reports for specific areas (for example, FHPAP - Ramsey).

Tips:

  • Choosing “Select all” (double check marks) means the report will only include data that exactly matches that filter.
  • Leaving a filter blank means it won’t be used at all.
  • If you notice missing data when using “Select all,” try running the report again with fewer filters selected
  1. Click Schedule Report to run the report. You will then see a box pop up. Choose Excel for the export format and Now for run. Then click Schedule Report.
