What is this
The SAGE HMIS Reporting Repository, or "Sage" for short, is an online portal that HUD grantees use to submit their annual reports.
Please note, ICA staff do not have access to Sage and are limited in what help we can offer on this topic. This article provides a number of helpful resources to review in the Related Articles & References section below when you have questions about Sage.
What you need to know
- To gain access to Sage, you will need to visit the Sage website and enter your contact information and grant recipient information. Your CoC's primary contact, often the CoC Coordinator, will then need to approve your request.
- The following is a list of reports that are compatible with Sage:
- Coordinated Entry Annual Performance Report (CE APR)
- Continuum of Care Annual Performance Report (CoC APR)
- Emergency Solutions Grant Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (ESG CAPER)
How to Upload a report into Sage
- For information on uploading a report to Sage, ICA recommends reviewing the Sage User Manual.
Test a report file in Sage
- A compatible report can be checked for issues by uploading a copy of the report to the Sage test page. Users can print or download a copy of the error report, and testing a report will not impact any submissions when logged in.
- If Sage finds an issue with a test upload, it will display an error code. For assistance in troubleshooting error codes, please submit a question to HUD's Ask a Question portal.
