Learn about the HMIS workflow and data entry requirements for state-only PATH programs.
What you need to know
On July 1st, 2026 Minnesota changed the way it funds PATH grantees. Now, some PATH grantees are funded only with state PATH dollars, while a small set of PATH grantees will be funded with both state and federal PATH dollars. You will have the same data-entry requirements for your PATH programs regardless of how they are funded.
If you are a PATH grantee who is receiving both state and federal PATH dollars: pay close attention to what project you are entering your client into. Projects receiving state-only funding will have "state only" labeled in the project name. For example: ICA-SO-RCC-HHS PATH-State only
